Prepping the shooting equipment
I had to learn a few new things about the camera when filming. I wasn't sure how to change the settings while it was in video mode, so a few takes are in a blueish light. I didn't hate how it looked, but it became difficult to keep that dark effect, especially when shooting a scene that included the outdoors.
After a few takes, I managed to figure out how to change the settings, which included adjusting the white balance and ISO on a digital video camera. All the filming was done on the camera because I personally feel as if the graphics look better than they would on my phone.
While it is important to have a device that is standard when filming, what is being used to edit can also have an impact on the final outcome. I utilize apps such as Canva and Apple Movie because they are free and have a large range of editing aspects.
