Location Scouting

    For my film, I wanted something that fit an artsy aesthetic. Therefore, the sets I choose have a common theme or focus, which includes nature and plants. Nature symbolizes new growth and strengthening, an essential part of what I wanted to convey. 

    Throughout the film, I wanted a common motif in the story: the plants and flowers that grow all around. So even when deciding on the costumes or the backdrops for head heads, I repeated it, even in the simplest way possible. 

    When picking my location, I knew I wanted a lot of greenery simply because of the meaning behind the color green. The color green represents growth and change, which supports the overall message of my film, even though it is about personal struggles.
